When visiting Maxx242’s office the other day, he filled me in on a little background behind the Expensive Taste x The Wild Ones colab Wildly Inappropriate. The inspiration for the tee comes from a erotic woodcut of the ukiyo-e genre made around 1820 by the Japanese artist Hokusai.

There have been a number of reworks by artists since then.
